Hi, my name is Mary Carugati, and I am the administrator for Mad Dog Lacrosse NNJ.  I graduated from River Dell High School (shoutout to my fellow Golden Hawks!), attended Lafayette College where I was a member of the Equestrian Team, and was an MBA matriculate at Temple University with a concentration in Computer Science.

After graduation, I pursued a long and successful career in Marketing, serving in director level positions for companies such as AIG and Nutri/System.  My last full time position was National Director of Donor Marketing for the American Red Cross Biomedical division, after which I became a successful marketing consultant for companies large and small. I began working for Coach Sue in 2013 after recognizing a need for administrative support.

I have three children, all of whom played a full range of youth sports. My youngest, Christine, began playing lacrosse for Coach Sue in 2008. She was a 3 sport, 12 varsity letter athlete at The Pennington School, was named NJ Prep Player of the Year in 2015, and went on to play Division I lacrosse for Boston University, starting every game her junior and senior year.  I have been in all of our parents shoes, juggling multiple kids across multiple activities, dealing with the pressures of playing multiple club sports, academics, and navigating my daughter, under Coach Sue’s guidance. through what can only be described as a roller coaster recruiting process. In addition to managing our backend admin and recruiting systems, I try to be a valuable resource to help parents navigate their player’s lacrosse experience, having been through it all myself.

I think what sets Mad Dog NNJ Girls apart from other club programs is twofold: first is a positive, family atmosphere, where we truly invest in each player’s athletic and emotional growth, and are guided by needs of our players first and foremost.  The second is that we provide a level of individual attention that is unparalleled in club lacrosse, and we provide that level of attention to each and every player, not just one or two standouts.  I believe that since we are parents of female athletes as well as Mad Dog Lacrosse employees, Coach Sue and I are uniquely committed to developing each and every athlete in our program to become confident, strong young women who just happen to be great lacrosse players.
