Orange County Girls Director

I grew up playing lacrosse in Centreville, MD & was a four year Varsity starter for coach Penelope Santos-Bates at Queen Anne’s County high school where I helped contribute to four regional championships, three semi-final game appearances and a state final run in 2012. In conclusion of my high school career at Queen Anne’s County, I graduated as a US Lacrosse 1st-Team All-American, a three time 1st Team All-Mid Shore Honoree, & with a scholarship offer to play Division 1 women’s lacrosse at the University of Florida for coach Amanda O’Leary.
As I reflect on my collegiate career I realize how fortunate I was to graduate a Gator & with career accolades such as a 1st-Team IWLCA All-America (2017), a Tewaaraton Award Top-25 Nominee (2017), the BIG EAST Attacker of the Year (2017), the BIG EAST Conference Tournaments Most Outstanding Player (2017), a Tewaaraton Award Watch List honoree (2016), a IWLCA All-South Second Team member (2016), an All-BIG EAST First Team member (2015), for making the SEC First-Year Honor Roll (2014), and as a member of the Inside Lacrosse Women’s All-Rookie Team (2014). Though these accolades are just the cherry on top of my experience & the memories I cherish from my time at the University of Florida my most proud honor was being named our team’s captain as a senior in 2017 in which was voted on by my coaching staff & my peers.
After graduating from the University of Florida in 2017 with a degree in Event Management, I decided to head west & continue using my knowledge & love for the game to better the next generation of lacrosse players & families. Upon arriving in Southern California, I took on the role as an Assistant Coach for the Fresno State Bulldogs (2018 / 2019) before transitioning into my role here at Mad Dog as a director and coach! As I’ve come to realize throughout my playing career & now coaching career, relationships are truly the foundation of any team or organization & what I personally value most. The principles & standards that I have come to know & contribute to here at Mad Dog are ones that have taught me & will continue to teach me as I navigate through life so for that I am forever grateful. Our staff, parents, & players are what makes this an incredible group to be a part of & one that I take pride in contributing to & to ensuring that our next generation of lacrosse players develop their skill sets not only as athletes but as people first and foremost!
