My name is Crissy Ada and I have been an administrator with Mad Dog Lacrosse for the past 3 years. I grew up a military child living in Italy, Minnesota, Hawaii, Japan and Washington State, but San Diego has been my home for most of my life. I graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a bilingual emphasis. I have taught all levels of math at Bonita Vista High School for the past 27 years. During that time I have been the advisor to many different clubs, worked with the Associated Student Body, was an assistant swim coach and Cheer coach for 10 years. I have 2 wonderful children, a daughter who is 27 and a 15 year old son. Being involved as a team parent and organizing all their events is what has led me to being part of the Mad Dog team. Caden first played lacrosse in the Spring of 2014 and I soon found myself on the board of the non-profit lacrosse organization in Chula Vista, which I am still currently the Treasurer.
Caden fell in love with the sport and that brought us to Mad Dog in the summer of 2014. We soon began traveling with the team and it was second nature to organize events and hotels for our team. In 2017, I joined Mad Dog officially as an administrator. I work primarily with the West Coast teams in both the boys and girls programs. It has been amazing to be a part of this program, to watch it grow and see all of the fine young athletes they have developed over the years. Mad Dog has become our 2nd family and I am very grateful to be part of such a wonderful organization.
