
“Coach Lou” grew up in Wayne, NJ and attended Depaul Catholic where he was a founding member of the lacrosse program in his sophomore year. As a senior he was selected as a 1st team all state midfielder, tallying 76 pts in a single season. He was later named to the Passaic County all decade team.
Coach Lou Went on to attend Marist College where he was a dual sport athlete at the Division 1 level, he was an unrecruited walk on to the lacrosse team after being recruited to play football. He was a 4 year starter in lacrosse and was a member of the 2005 MAAC Championship team and played in the NCAA Tournament against eventual 2005 National champions, Johns Hopkins University. Coach Lou was a 2-year captain and was a nominee for MAAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2008.
He has been coaching lacrosse at a competitive level for over 15 years and is currently the head coach of the 2021 Mad Dog National team, which is currently ranked 2nd overall in the country. Coach Lou brings high energy, professional level experience and a passion for the game to the program.
