Colin Maxfield
Coach Maxfield enters his second season as Head Coach, and 5th season as a member of the UVU coaching staff. During his time on staff UVU has logged a record 43-11, with two RMLC Championships (2023, 2025), two National Tournament Appearances, and one Final Four Appearance.
During Coach Maxfield’s inaugural season at UVU, the Wolverines registered the MCLA’s #1 Offense in Goals per Game, #3 Defense in Goals Against, seven All-American Selections, 15 All Conference Selections, and five Scholar Athlete Selections. Coach Maxfield and staff were awarded the 2025 RMLC Coach and Coaching Staff of the Year.
Prior to his role at UVU, Coach Maxfield served as the Defensive Coordinator at Westminster University. While at Westminster he led the Griffins to a Top 10 NCAA DII defensive efficiency, three Top 25 wins, and a program best #15 national ranking.
Coach Maxfield is a proud Alumni of Southern Virginia University ’18. As a player he graduated with program records in games played, games started, ground balls, and caused turnovers. Post graduation Coach Maxfield spent two seasons on the Knight’s coaching staff.
