Kyle Smedley
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER – ST. PAUL’S SCHOOL (MD)
Kyle Smedley was a multi-sport athlete in football, basketball, and lacrosse at St. Paul’s School. A leader on and off the field, he was part of the 2004 MIAA Championship lacrosse team, building a foundation rooted in toughness, discipline, and team-first culture.
COLLEGE CAREER – TOWSON UNIVERSITY
Smedley went on to captain the men’s lacrosse team at Towson University, where he established himself as a respected leader and competitor. His collegiate experience shaped his philosophy around accountability, preparation, and competitive identity.
PROFESSIONAL CAREER
• Walk-on – Philadelphia Wings (NLL, 2010–2011)

Smedley pursued professional lacrosse opportunities at the highest levels of the sport, earning roster spots through discipline and perseverance.
COACHING CAREER
Smedley has coached lacrosse since 2010 and has been part of four high school championship programs.
• Assistant Coach – St. Paul’s School (2010 MIAA Championship)
– Only St. Paul’s alumnus to win an MIAA title as both a player (2004) and coach (2010)
• Head Coach – La Jolla High School (CA), 2014–2019
– 3x CIF Champion (2016, 2017, 2018)
– First undefeated regular season in program history
– National Top 25 Ranking (#24, 2019)

Kevin Unterstein was a high school All-American at Shoreham-Wading River High School.

Unterstein was a standout short-stick defensive midfielder at Hofstra and a 2008 graduate with a degree in sociology.

Unterstein competed at the highest levels of professional and international lacrosse, earning recognition as one of the premier defensive midfielders of his era.
